Labor Day

As long time residents of this beautiful highly rated town of Louisville, we feel it is high time that we start taking part in all the community activities offered to us. Of course we have done many things before, but we are making it a point this year to miss very little. This year we did the Labor Day parade, race and fair!

Most of the family took part in the Coal Creek Crossing this year. A 5k for mom and dad and a fun run for Caden which, would you believe it, was totally fun! Caden took great pride in running his first race insisting of course that everyone come out and cheer for him. He didn’t come in first, but not last either (I won’t share which side he was closer to). But no matter, he had a great time and we all enjoyed our day of running and the following festivities.

The parade of course was another necessity. I am afraid the popularity of these events are becoming more popular with our kids because of the amount of booty they get and not necessarily what is going on during it. But whatev, way fun.
