Jefferson Street Float
Our little town of Louisville has always been a great place for community events and fun. The parade of lights is an annual holiday event where all the organizations from town put together floats and acts where lights are the theme. We have gone to it for years but this is the first time we took part ourselves.
Caden’s preschool puts together a float every year and marches the kids down the route with candy and music. Daddy got involved too by taking charge of the float design. We did a fun sleigh and reindeer with a truck and trailer. The kids helped decorate and the whole school walked down the street amongst thousands of people cheering. It was a beautiful evening and everyone was out to see us. Caden thought it was a great time. He walked the whole way himself handing out candy as he went. Not many pictures to show, but you get the idea!
