Christmas 2008

Christmas is always a big event around here, but this year was even more exciting as Caden was old enough to participate in Christmas this year! He wasn’t too sure about the opening of presents but he certainly enjoyed all of the new toys, goodies and all of the parties.

This was our 20th annual Spirit Party this year we attempted a skit with Caden “A Night Under the Big Top” with Caden demonstrating a variety of tricks--walking, playing instruments, climbing etc. However, as expected a 1 year old doesn’t exactly perform on command so we just winged it. We were however sucessful with the shock value though as we dressed Caden up as he ‘twin sister Cayleen’ which was quite a hit! (unfortunately we don’t have pic’s of this!)

We spent Christmas day at home with just our little family and then went over to the Porter’s for the rest of the day to spend time with the whole family. It was a wonderful relaxing and fun day for all of us!
