14 Months Old-- “Soooo Big”

Caden is now 14 months old and he continues to be a ton of fun!

Recently he’s learned how to follow directions a lot better. He can now put his paci and blankie bears in his crib, turn off the lights, show you how big he is and more...all on command. Very exciting!

He has been eating like CRAZY recently and has become an excellent sleeper. He now generally sleeps from 7pm-6am with no interruptions (knock on wood!!!) He is also becoming more of a milk drinker which is good. I think all of the eating, drinking and sleeping has resulted in a growth spurt...he’s now according to our home scale 23.5lbs and seems to be quite a bit taller.

Caden recently started a new class called Flip & Dip. Its a half hour of gymnastics and then a half hour swim lesson. He seems to really enjoy it even though he’s way younger then everyone in the class.

Caden’s walking has really improved as well and now is nearing being able to run--which he’s determined to do. With the added skills come WAY more accidents. Our days generally consist of several falls...usually he brushes them off but occasionally they’re very scary to watch and they seem to hurt. Recently he fell head first into a door and got a bruise in a straight line up his forehead...poor guy! Unfortunately he doesn’t seem to learn or be slowed down by these falls...
