Start of a Tradition?

Caden’s good friend Finn and his dad, Adam, invited us to hike a couple of 14ers this weekend; Grays and Torreys Peak. And, perhaps a tradition is born?

Left at O’dark 30 for Dillion. Got parking and started hiking in the dark. And we didn’t stop until we made it to the first peak. It was amazing. And not just because of the views and the feeling of exerting yourself like nothing but a 14er can, but because our boys Caden and Finn did so well. I can’t imagine a couple of 9 year old kids doing this without whining or wanting to quit. But they did it.

Not only did they hike Grays, they pushed through the saddle for Torreys too. After that, a long hike down and a well earned lunch at Beau Jo’s.

So proud of Caden and looking forward to more of these next summer!
