Moving the Parents

We’ve been working towards getting Katy’s parents moved for several years now...and this summer it happened...and this fall their house sold!

Katy and the kids headed out to Oregon in August for a week and a half to work with Kevin on packing and clearing out the house, then Jon met us all out there for the actual move into Portland. It was a big job...very stressful for all involved but it happened and the new situation seems to be working out well for Kay and Gerry. They have a nice little apartment in a nice part of Portland. The big perks of their new location include...being walking distance to a variety of shops including a grocery store and pharmacy, close to good doctors, only a train ride away from the airport for all of their visitors which have been almost nonstop since they moved in!
