Molly’s 3rd Birthday
How can she already be 3? Our little princess has grown-up so fast and there is no sign of it slowing. She had her 3 year check-up and all was well. Even better, she was actually on the charts now for weight--the <3rd %ile at 24lbs and fell off the chart for height at 32 1/2”...oh well. Small as she might be, she is at least registering now.
The party plans this year changed minute by minute, but finally settled on a “Under the Sea Ariel Party”. So Mom and Dad pulled out all the stops and decorated like mad. Lots of pools and beach themed decorations made for a great time for the all the kids and adults (near 50 this time). The cake was another success as the pictures will show and Molly had a blast. I mean, just look at that smile up there.
As we have reflected in the past, Molly, as wonderful as she is, has been a tricky child this past three years. We try our best to not over indulge or spoil her. We try to set some rules and make her follow them. We even try to make sure she is polite and has good manners. But trying is like, uhm, like...whatever, it doesn’t work. Molly does what she wants and gets what she wants. Fortunately for us, she naturally has good manners, likes to share and is loved by all who cross her path. We really have no right to complain. She is a happy, healthy, smart, energetic child with more personality than every adult I know. Quite the head turner too, this girl has some looks. Right now that makes Daddy very proud. Not too long from now that will make daddy drink a lot...and probably buy a gun.
We are covering some of the minor health issues Molly is having here, so there is no need to dwell on anything other on the perfection that is Molly. Please enjoy her party pictures!
