The Road to Somewhere

I know you all think we are nuts. Taking a 2.5 week road trip with two young children...who brings that kind of pain and suffering upon themselves? We do of course, and yes, it was pretty tough at times. But more times than that, it was a lot of fun.

My best man at our wedding, Jeff, was getting married in San Francisco, so we thought that was reason enough to take a lot of time off and see the top right quarter of the country. We drove from our home north through Wyoming, through most of Montana, Idaho, the East part of Washington, most of Oregon, all of NorCal, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming again then home.

We camped, stayed in hotels, and stayed with the grandparents in Oregon. Our Oregon visit was great right on the 4th of July. The wedding in San Rafael was beautiful. Jeff and his new wife Amanda are a wonderful couple and they put on a great show for us all.
