Love is in the Air

We didn’t realize it until this year, but Valentine’s Day has been a fairly significant holiday in our lives (Katy and Jon). Not the something huge happens every time, but it has always been a great day, without a lot of effort. Our first when we had been dating for only a couple of months. We decided to take a random trip to Mexico for a long weekend. It was spontaneous and totally fun. Other notable times, last year when we were in England and spent the day in Cambridge and came home and got a heart shaped pizza from Pizza Hut, truly a great day. There was Caden’s first Valentines which was fun for us all. Our third Valentines was also special...but why will remain a secret. And this year in all its simplicity was just as wonderful. Caden and Molly enjoyed some gifts goodies and lots of hugs and kisses. And once mommy and daddy finally got them to sleep, we made a lovely dinner for ourselves and enjoyed a bottle of champagne and a couple hours of quiet in our non-stop lives. Nothing could have been better.
