Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Colorado Springs

This was basically Caden’s perfect day. Riding a train, going to the zoo, feeding and petting animals AND doing it all with is cousins--the best!

We had never been to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs but it is a great zoo...and its perfect for Caden. There were lots of different animals from what we see at the Denver Zoo, tons of stuff to climb and play on AND you get to pet various animals AND feed the giraffes which was definitely the highlight for both Caden and I! Caden spend about an hour feeding the giraffes crackers...I think he went through about 30 crackers...and that’s not counting that ones we broke up!

Quite a few of us took the trip down there, visited the zoo and then had Dinner at the Golden Bee Pub at the Broadmoor Hotel. It was a great day!
