Halloween

October 31, 20088 photos

As you may have gathered by now October was a rough month for us...full of sickness (all three of us), home disasters and lots of travel. But despite being a little out of sorts all of us rallied and we enjoyed our Halloween nonetheless!

The Porter’s annual Halloween Party was a success as always. We weren’t in Prime form that night so we were only there for about an hour but Sarah Palin and Dr House made their appearance and partook in festivities.

Of course we also made the obligatory trip to the pumpkin patch. Caden thought this was quite fun...crawling around in dirt, petting animals and climbing pumpkins.

On Halloween itself Caden enjoyed being dressed up as a monkey. He visited a few people and then went trick-or-treating with his cousins that evening. His cousins in costume scared him at first (as did most Halloween decorations) but he REALLY, REALLY, REALLY liked trick-or-treating and quickly understood how it worked, dug into the candy bowls and said mmmmmmm at each house. He especially liked the end of the night when he got to try a Twizzler...surprisingly it was gone very quickly!
