Jon’s 1st Father’s Day

Father’s day this year was very special for all of us! We took the day just for ourselves and had a great time. The day started with Jon doing a 10 mile training run and while he was gone Caden and I were busy picking up the house and making Jon breakfast! Jon being the ever practical one wanted to clean out and organize the office for Father’s Day--UGH! So, for my gift to Jon I gave him all of our CD’s in a big binder and we worked on the office for a long time while Caden was napping. Caden gave Jon a card that he wrote himself and matching sandals for him and Daddy. However, the biggest present Caden gave Jon was that he learned to sign Dog on Father’s Day which was very exciting for all of us! We also took a trip out to Koot Lake to take Lucia swimming, did a little gardening and had dinner with the Porters. All in all a very fun and relaxing day!
