Caden is One Month Old!!!

Today marks Caden’s 1 month birthday...and what a month it is! Since our last entry Caden has continued to grow and change with each passing day...and experience lots of new things as well.

Today at Caden’s 1 month Dr visit he weighed in at 9lbs 12oz 50%ile) and is 22” long (60%ile)...so he’s gained more than 2lbs and grown an inch since his last visit just 3 weeks ago!

Caden has become a total “paci-addict” in the past couple of weeks, has finally learned to tolerate his baths (which is nice for all of us) and enjoys going on walks in the snugly (which Katy loves). He is now occasionally discovering his hands which he finds totally fascinating and impressive--he especially likes to make a fanning motion with them...very cute!

Jon is now back at work so Caden and Mommy are home a lot now...and will continue to be for awhile as our Dr recommends that he doesn’t go in public until he’s eight weeks old. Our days at home are surprisingly busy...we eat, change diapers and do a lot of laundry and in-between Katy occasionally gets to shower and eat.

Now that its December we are also getting ready for Caden’s first Christmas. Earlier this week we choose our Christmas tree and Caden met his first horse...he didn’t really react to either though as he slept through the whole thing.
