Three Weeks Already!?!?!

Wow! Its been three weeks already? It’s hard to believe they’ve gone by fast!!! The last 21 days have been a blur of excitement, fun, exhaustion, change and the list could go on and on. Our days are busy...which is surprising especially since we really hardly ever go anywhere and we rarely get much done...Our days are full of 8 feedings a day which last for 30-45 minutes each and of course those go along with 1-3 diaper changes per feeding, plus some in between. We thought we had plenty of newborn diapers...but we keep buying more and flying through them!

Caden is growing and changing daily. He started out as a tall and skinny little boy but is now packing on the pounds and doing more and more each day. On our home scales he’s now weighing in close to 9 1/2 lbs and as you can see from the picture is a muscle man. He’s now lifting and sometimes holding his head up and is more awake and alert with each passing day. He’s also grown some impressive chins...depending on when you catch him you’ll see between one and four all at once! Caden is generally a very happy baby and enjoys spending time in his swing, his bouncer chair and crib watching his mobile...but mostly he prefers to be held & very tightly swaddled!
