Lisa’s abusive trip to Colorado.

Let this be a warning to all those who wish to visit Katy and I, for now at least. We are lousy hosts. Sure, we will feed you, give a nice place to stay with your own room and bathroom. But, it will cost you. Oh yes my friend, you will pay for your visit. Our good friend Lisa came out to visit us cause, 1) she is a great friend, and 2) she needed a little vacation. Thank goodness for number one, cause number two was a flop. Okay, it wasn’t all that bad. On Saturday, we took a great drive on the Peak-to-Peak highway to Estes Park where we saw lots of elk and even more tourist.

We also had many nice meals together with lots of laughs about anything and everything. Then came the price to pay for that kind of fun. Babies R Us and Home Depot. Yes, we dragged poor Lisa on our routine weekend errands. Sure, she said she didn’t mind and would love to come along. Well, thanks to us, Lisa will no longer be indecisive. One hour wandering the aisles of Babies R Us stocking up on everything baby. Then, a “quick stop” at Home Depot so Jon could get a couple things. Two hours later, we came out with a whole new bathroom (see here!). It was torture for anyone who wasn’t us...and even us. But Lisa didn’t complain, she just came along for the ride and enjoyed watching Katy and I bicker about brushed nickel shower heads. This is why everyone loves Lisa. Come back and see us again real soon y’all!!
