The main floor is done. There is so much to say about this improvement that I can’t do it here. went from 4 feet of counter space to 16. Moved a bathroom, added closest, changed floor to ceiling and wall to wall. It is stunning. Enjoy the pictures, they tell the story.

First, with the plans approved, we get to draw on walls!
This novelty didn’t last as long as I thought
These pictures represent the other half of this project: Moving out of our house..our stuff at least...and selling everything
Hutch, beds, couches, chairs, pictures, you name it...all gone.
And then there is the Ikea trip. Caden’s room is being completely rebuilt. So here is all the new furniture...now in storage
Love me a mini-van
Blue tape are keepers. We moved most of our old cabinets into the garage.
Down to the last couch before D(emo)-Day
Caden’s room got pretty sad....
Zoe is not excited. She gets antsy if she sees us packing a bag...
So what do you do with empty floors that are about to be ripped out?
Obvi....
The last load to the storage locker...to think we didn’t think we would need that?!
The storage shed was not an inch too small....
Moving the sacred pictures to the freezer
And it begins...
Appliances are first to go
The transition as stuff is removed from the fridge and cabinets
Then put back in as the fridge (and the cabinets) fine their new home
Our new kitchen!
Not the main floor, but a requirement before we got started...new patio and firepit!
I hate flagstone now
But it came out okay
The firepit
AND, while this was going on, we had got a new hot tub and had to prep
Which meant a new patio...that would make my second this summer
First world white trash...I got a broken down spa up on blocks.
Kitchen out
Bathroom...on its way out
Ryon let the kids help
They helped for with enthusiasm
Go figure, another floor
Molly presenting her work
Kitchen...out. Ryon, our carpenter, was none too happy how hard tearing out the kitchen was (not my fault!)
First meal in the garage
New Cabinets!
All our new material in our garage
