A New Place to Chill

We (Jon) have long been contemplating a way to extend our front yard to be more enjoyable during the summer months. Primarily, this means having a place to sit. So after months of thinking about it and using Grandpa David as an excuse to get started, we tore up a good chunk of the front yard and made a nice sitting area. Not a big project, but a nice one. With LOTS of heavy lifting to do with bricks, dirt, concrete, railroad ties and other fun landscaping materials. The finished product picture isn’t here yet, but picture nice patio furniture and some plants in the new area...
