Everyone’s Grandma
Great-Grandma Norma
On Friday the 16th of November, my beautiful Grandma Norma passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. We had the rare pleasure to introduce our kids to their Great-Grandma, something I hope at least Caden remembers. My Grandma was a wonderful lady full of energy and love for her family. She had lived through a rough childhood raised in the Great Depression and grew up to meet her husband Bernard (where I got my middle name). She had three daughters, Myra (my Mommy), Suzy and Judy. My Grandfather died in 1975, before I was born. I am told my talents as an engineer come in-part from him. For my part, I have thousands of memories of my sister and I visiting our grandma in Palm Springs and later in Phoenix with a few stops in-between. I have attempted to gather some pictures of her from my lifetime and my kids. She was an important part of my life and was a special person for anyone who met her. I will miss you Grandma. May you and Grandpa rest in peace together.
