Caden is Heading to Middle School

May 23, 20191 photos

Some may say graduation from Elementary School to Middle School is not a big deal. It is a big deal. In Elementary School, kids are barely able to be without there parents for more than a minute. They can’t read, draw or do anything more than count. They have supervised play dates and need to be taken everywhere by adults. They can’t be on their own.

By 5th grade, parents can be gone for hours before the kid notices. They are reading Tolstoy, creating works of arts and have dabbled in Algebra. They play with friends on their own terms and have plenty of social drama and can get to school on their own. They have grown up to be independent people. There is no other institution or time in a person’s life that they will change this much.

And Caden is all about that. He has come so far and can do so much. Middle School seems daunting, but he is so ready. I can’t stand watching him grow, while at the same time I am so proud everyday to watch him do it. Great things are coming from our boy, so stand-by and let’s hope I can keep the updates going to share with you all.

Great job Caden! We Love you!

A big part of graduation 5th grade is going through Outdoor Ed! Caden rocked it this last week with dad along for the ride as chaperone. Some great pictures here!
