Summer Trip to the Butte

After a fantastic winter trip to Crested Butte and hearing that we simply must return during the summer...we did. And we were not disappointed. We brought the whole family, grandma, grandpa and the Dias family. Got a fantastic VRBO in-town and just spent the days exploring.

Crested Butte is known for its flowers, hikes, biking, downtown. And the hype is real. The flowers were indescribable, the hiking goes forever the downtown was full of food and fun and the biking...OMG. something for everyone and it made a mountain biker out of Katy and Grandma!!

Mark and I also got to try our hand at fly-fishing...damn, that is hard. But we got to stand in the middle of a beautiful river surrounded by beautiful mountains and fish...I could get use to that. I will have to get a LOT better at it...but I could get use to it.
