We Have Eggs! Eggs People...We Have Eggs Here

Mommy won the bet. The first eggs came early and we couldn’t be more excited. Our first two layers are Agie (the Rhode Island Red) and Raptor (Blue Andullion). Agie lays about one day and Raptor every other. So a good week gets us near a dozen. Once they all start laying we are in trouble. But winter has rolled around and production has slowed considerably.

No matter, it has all been worth it. The Chickens are easy and they are finally returning the favor.
