Happy Halloween

October 31, 20131 photos

I am going to make this short and sweet cause it is 10:20pm and we are all waking up at 4am tomorrow morning for our big Disney Cruise vacation (I will take my time with that post. But I wanted to share our Halloween this year cause it was a blast. This year Caden got to take part in his first Halloween Day parade. A Louisville Elementary School tradition (of 40+ years). The kids, all in costume of course, walk from the school into downtown and trick-or-treat with the local businesses. This is even more impressive to see since there are over 600 kids. It was pretty cool.

Seconds after that parade and a calm in-class party (the kids walked 1+ mile), we headed over to Molly’s school for her Holiday fun. Cute as always. We then ran home and have been busting our humps prepping for this trip. But we dropped everything at 5pm for pizza with the big family and trick-or-treating in the neighborhood on a brisk autumn night. Brisk, yes. The weather for Colorado Halloween’s tends to stay interesting. Today it was perfectly clear and crisp, and SUPER windy which made for a sprint around the neighborhood for candy. Kids still loved it. They got home and crashed more excited then ever for what tomorrow will bring.

Here are lots of pictures of the day (click here).
