Halloween

Yeah Halloween! This year was perfect for all of us. There wasn’t much stress building up to it, there wasn’t much work on costumes and everyone had a great time. Mommy and daddy even got to go out on the town for a little fun of our own.

This year, Caden impressed everyone again with his unique taste in costumes. If you will remember last year (click here) Caden dressed up as Roomba. This year, he chose the UPS man. Either Caden has a keen eye for standing out, or he is a total sell-out. We cannot wait to see what he decides on next year. Molly we still have control over what she wears, so she went as a ladybug...and she was damn cute.

Trick or treating this year was awesome. It was clear and even a little warm, which is unusual for a CO Halloween. We stayed in our own neighborhood, which is unusual for us, and joined up with Caden’s friends Faya and Sophie and even better, Shae joined us. Much to our surprise, there were a TON of kids out trick-or-treating. I say surprise because we, on average, get three or four trick-o-treaters each year. Turns out, where we live in our neighborhood is not in the mainstream. Just a block over and it is kid central...SO much fun. Molly and Caden were out for almost an hour and a half and Caden and mommy went our for another hour and half after dropping daddy and Molly off at home. Lots. Of. Candy.
