Easter 2009

We got home from Oregon just in time for Easter. Caden wasn’t sure what to make of his big ‘ol Easter basket at first but then he saw the candy and decided he LOVED Easter. So, this was the start of his holiday where he refused to eat anything other then candy and cookies. Note to the Easter Bunny: Next year PLEASE don’t put candy in his Easter Basket--that’s not a good way for him to start the day.

Then we all went to church together and Caden LOVED the music--check out the dance video below! He spent the beginning of the service dancing in the aisles and then spent the rest of it giving everyone around him “fist bumps” and dancing in-between.

After church we went over to the Porters and enjoyed Easter Brunch with the family. Everyone missed Caden while we were gone so he was (as he always is) the center of attention for the day. Caden even participated in the egg hunt. Turns out he’s not so good at finding the eggs, but he enjoyed trying and being pointed in the right direction. Maybe next year’s egg hunts will be more successful...
