New Years = Eight Weeks Old!

Happy New Year! Today marks Caden’s Eight Week Birthday...but he’s not quite two months yet! He’s still growing and developing like crazy...now weighing in at about 12lbs he’s cooing a lot more, chewing on his hands and enjoying toys more--especially mirrors!

The other big change for us as we approached this day has been that we’re now able to start taking Caden out in public more which is fun! Out and about we’ve been...already he’s been suit shopping with Grandma and Grandpa Kinneavy, out to eat a couple of times and has visited the grocery store. Caden is starting to enjoy going places more now which is nice...he seemed to especially like looking at all the clothes and mirrors when we were shopping--that is good news for mom!

Caden celebrated New Year’s by being at the “All Cousins New Year’s Party” at his Aunt Anne’s house with Grandma and Grandpa Kinneavy baby-sitting. He had a fun time with all of the kids and was able to meet his Cousin’s Julian and Dylan and his Aunt Jo and Uncle Kevin too which was fun! Mom and Dad enjoyed a nice Dinner with Kristen and Tyler. None of the “Louisville Chapmans” were able to stay up until midnight but a good time was still had by all!
